Mark Hunt vs Jr Dos Santos at UFC 160 |

After a week of heavy lobbying by the NZMMA Nation it has now been confirmed that Mark Hunt will square off against Jr Dos Santos at UFC 160 on May 25th.
On Saturday morning, UFC President Dana White confirmed the matchup after a short sparring session of twitter posts regarding the status of the previous scheduled match between Alistair Overeem and Jr Dos Santos.
When Overeem suffered a training injury, Mark Hunt stepped up for the fight with JDS and the New Zealand MMA (NZMMA) Nation began a huge fan assault to support the Super Samoan's bid.
After a short statement by Dana that the fight was turned down by Mark, then a denial by Mark he had EVER turned down a fight, confirmation of the matchup finally came through.
Mark and all his leagues of rabid fans are ecstatic -- and that includes the entire NZMMA Nation.

New Zealand's Mark Hunt convincingly earned himself a spot in the UFC Heavyweight Title hunt on Saturday Night when he scored a TKO over Steffen Struve at UFC on FUEL 8 in Japan.

With this hard earned win over 7-foot tall Struve the 'Super Samoan' should be high on the list of exciting contenders to take on Cain Velasques for the title.
So no excuses Mr. Dana White, give this people's Heavyweight Champion in New Zealand, Samoa, Japan, Hawaii and Australia his shot at the UFC Heavyweight title.
What a fantastic match-up it would be for Cain versus 'The Super Samoan'! O.M.G., lace-up your boot straps and buckle in for a WAR!!!!
